Certifyflux

Practical workshops for digital photo editing mastery

Real skills, learned through practice.

We started Certifyflux in 2023 because we saw too many people frustrated with photo editing theory that never clicked. Our workshops focus on hands-on learning where you edit real images and solve actual problems.

Why workshops instead of videos?

Video tutorials can show you what to click, but they rarely help you understand why certain adjustments work. Our structured workshops guide you through editing decisions with immediate feedback. You work on assignments that mirror what photographers actually encounter, from fixing exposure problems to color grading portraits.

Each session builds on what you practiced before. You start with basic exposure and color correction, then move into selective adjustments and layering techniques. By the time you finish a workshop cycle, you have a portfolio of edited images and the confidence to approach new photos without following someone else's settings.

Workshop Cycles

Each cycle runs six weeks with two sessions per week. You complete assignments between sessions and receive individual guidance on your edits.

Who teaches these workshops

Instructor Faye Trudeau

Faye Trudeau

Lead Instructor

Faye spent twelve years editing for commercial photographers before designing our curriculum. She knows which adjustments matter and which ones waste time because she handled over thirty thousand images professionally.

Instructor Renata Kostelnik

Renata Kostelnik

Workshop Coordinator

Renata transitioned from portrait retouching to teaching after repeatedly being asked to explain her workflow. She structures assignments to prevent common editing mistakes before they become habits.

How we approach teaching

Immediate application

You edit photos during every session, not just watch demonstrations. Each technique is practiced on multiple images so you can see how different lighting conditions change your approach.

Mistakes are part of learning

We show you common editing errors and how to recognize them in your own work. You learn to evaluate your adjustments critically instead of relying on presets or guessing.

Realistic timelines

Developing a reliable editing workflow takes weeks of practice. Our workshops are structured to give you that practice time with guidance, not shortcuts that fall apart when you work independently.
